Jason,
I wanted to thank you for your and Al's training this week. I
came to your 3 day golf school with absolutely no clue on how to hit my
irons confidently. Par 3's were my bane. After working with you
and Al, I can safely say that I feel confident in hitting any iron in
my bag off the tee. I also feel that I can become confident off of any
lie with some more practice at the range. And, with a bit more practice,
I feel I can start hitting fades and draws on demand. (Al had showed me
this, and I did it, but I need to get consistent doing it!) It is VERY
gratifying being able to work with the ball. As opposed to swinging and
hoping that the ball goes...
During our outing on Wednesday, I achieved 4 pars, and had multiple puts
for par or birdie. In general, I was either on the green in 1 or 2. a
VAST improvement in my game. No longer will I be nervous getting to the
green!
Your school was worth the time and expense!
Your method of having 2 instructors per 2 students really, really was
important to my successful learning. On Monday, we had 3 instructors for
5 students, and Tuesday and Wednesday, with 4 students we had 2 instructors.
Incredible.
If any students would like a positive recommendation via email or phone
- please give them my number. I am confident that my handicap will be
dropping. I can't wait to get on the course with my buddies - beat their
socks off - and then let them off the hook after I let them know I went
to golf school. I don't think it would be fair to blind side them with
my game now!!

Hey Jason
Hope you're doing well !!! Patty, Joey and I are all fine.
We are all playing much better golf thanks to you. Your formula really
works and you should be very proud of what you do. Joey entered his first
tournament this summer, the US Kids Ohio qualifier and placed 12th out
of 17 kids in the10 -12 year old bracket. It was a great experience for
him and you'll be proud to know that he acted "Like a Professional" the
entire round. He never once moved when someone was putting, etc, etc.
He was a little nervous at the start (I was too-I was his caddy) but calmed
down and did very well. It was obvious that he needs new clubs. We played
the other day on a very nice course and he had 3 pars. Patty's handicap
has come down at least 10 strokes and she is really having a lot more
fun. It took me the longest to improve (Older dog). I noticed right away
that my chipping (ski position) and putting were actually very good. Then
my fairway woods kicked in and the short irons (shortened backswing) straightened
out.

Hi Jason,
It’s been two months since your class and I wanted to give you an update.
The first month after class was tough for me. My handicap index went up
from 13.5 to 14.9, but I was encouraged that the last two playing days
of June I shot 83 both times. In July I started pausing at the top of
the swing like I remembered Robert Aragon (AMPGS Instructor) doing in
his swing and I started hitting the ball more solid and much straighter.
But my big key to scoring was finally getting consistent with the 10-30
yard sand wedge shots that Robert taught the first day you were on the
way back from Las Vegas.
Between 7/10 and 7/26 I had rounds of 82, 84, 85, 82, 80, 81 & 82 and
the last 82 was from the Blue tees. With my 16 handicap in July I was
in the money during each of those rounds with the golf club I play with
three times a week. My index is now 12.7. I need to work on my short breaking
putts and I hope to be lower by the end of August.
Thanks again for all the things I learned in your class. I am enjoying
my new irons and 3 wood.
Aloha,

Jason,
Just wanted to say thanks again. The first time back out at the practice
green, with my new lob wedge and ski position stance, I hit three perfect
shots over a big ugly bunker and rolled them up to within a few feet of
the pin. Then I played the Balboa 9. Never before have I had this kind
of control from inside 100 yards - the challenge now is deciding which
wedge to hit, because the ski position lets me hit all of them with confidence
with less than a full swing!
I also hit a couple of the best 6 irons of my life, and was the only one
of our foursome to put one nicely on the green on a 165 yard par three.
As my ball was in the air, the other guys all said - 'wow - look at that
nice draw!"
Hope to soon be reporting news of lower scores. Thanks again for a great
couple of days.

Jason.
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the four day individual clinic
at America's Mind Power Golf School last week. I know you got tired of
telling me, "What part of keep your head down don't you understand?" But
thanks to your persistence and good humor I believe I made great progress.
Our play round proved that, since I have never had five pars and two birdies
ever on one round.
Jason you are a great instructor as well as a good person. Your humor
and excellent instruction methods made the session worth all it cost.
If you ever need a reference, Please
don't hesitate to let me know. I absolutely would do it again and highly
recommend the school to any golfer on any level.
Thanks for a great experience, I know if I follow your sage advice, my
game will continue to improve. Thanks mate! If I was still Mayor of Bakersfield,
I'd make a proclamation.

Dear Jason,
You're the best. I learned more in the three day course with you than
I thought possible. As I mentioned, I've been playing lousy casual "business"
golf for about 15 years -- never taking a lesson, never really breaking
110, and never feeling good about my game. I would be happy to get a single
par on a hole in any given round. And when I would play in business
tournaments I would always request an assignment to the foursome who doesn't
care how badly they play (luckily, usually the group with the most beer
and cigars).
Anyway, things started off badly in my lesson when you asked if I could
dance (no, I have two left feet), if I was athletic (I could only make
the Chemistry Team in High School), and if I was coordinated (only if
you count my shirt matching my pants when my wife picks out my clothes).
My "swing" was a mess, and you were amazingly patient just fixing the
little things one at a time. When you told me that your "ski position"
shot would get me so close on a chip that I would have a super-easy putt
-- and when you said that I would start to expect to get pars -- I thought
it was just BS.
Well, after two exhaustive days on the practice ranges we finally hit
the course. I am still utterly surprised that I got 9 legitimate pars
on the 18 holes, and got only one double bogey (counting every shot without
my friend the mulligan). The person hitting the ball in the hole was not
me -- but someone else who finally could hit relatively straight and far,
and get those close chips and putts in. It was a surreal experience just
counting up my pars on the course. And those "ski position" chip shots
onto the green were so close to the pin that it was scary.
I strongly recommend your school and your teaching approach to my friends
and anyone else who wants to improve their game. They should quite literally
"Go There." I hope to see you again for a refresher next year -- if not
sooner (I'm trying to arrange a trip down with my wife).

Jason,
I want to let you know that I was very happy with the instruction I got
at your school. Al is a very good instructor, and most congenial. We had
some good laughs. You can tell him I'm a little worried about his putting!!
What I wanted from your school was to understand why things happen when
they don't go right, particularly when I hooked the ball, but certainly
for other miscues. I feel that I got that from the school, and now have
a very clear understanding of why I hook - vastly reduced now, but still
occasionally happening when I unconsciously tighten up with my right hand.
Also I got a very clear understanding of how to set up at address. Since
I am an analytical person, I needed to have it all broken down into components,
and from practicing that to learn to feel when things are right or wrong.
I will still be doing a lot of analytical thinking when I get ready to
hit the ball, until I get more practice in to develop the right habits,
but on Sunday when I played at Bernardo Heights Country Club with my friend,
on one par three hole I used your swing thought of "Go there!", and hit
a perfectly straight shot right at the flag, just about 20 feet short
but an easy 2-putt for par. Naturally, it felt incredibly easy and very
rewarding. I look forward to many more such moments, thanks to the instruction
and concepts I got from you and Al. I did read your whole book the first
night. I hope you will soon be well enough to hit some balls. I enjoyed
your fabulous weather. I will probably play here on Saturday, and get
soaked to the skin and covered in mud!
Best wishes.

Dear Jason:
I want you to know we all had a wonderful weekend at your golf school.
Not only did I have a great time, but also I learned a tremendous amount
of practical and sensible skills. I have taken a number of lessons from
different instructors, what sets you, and your instructors apart, was
your teaching approach. You did not try to break down skills and start
all over again, but you looked at the flaws and a sensible and easy were
to remove them, thus building my confidence immediately.
You were able to convey your instructions very quickly and I was hitting
my eight iron 140 yards straight and consistent within the first 2 hours.
Your patented ski shot is a lifesaver in any situation under 60 yards!
The best round I have ever shot was a 96, but now I feel mentally confident
to break into the 80 very soon. I am looking to get out on the course
this weekend and try my new skills.
I would also recommend to anyone trying to improve their game whether
they have a 10 handicap or a 30 handicap to come to your school. You are
right when you state this is the best value in golf instruction.
Please have anyone call me and I will tell them
about the great instruction you and Al gave my friends and me. My number
is 323-658-5511 ext. 17.
I look forward to coming back in the spring for a refresher course when
I have my 10 handicap!

Jason,
I just wanted to let you know how much I truly enjoyed my time with you
at the golf school. The personalized program I received was incredible.
The way you tailored everything around my needs and my goals and my limitations
was perfect for me. The mix of instructional techniques really helped
me understand both what I was doing wrong in my swing and also how to
correct it. The book on mental aspects, the hands on, the training aids,
and in my case, especially the video made it almost impossible not to
learn. Your relaxed yet knowledgeable approach put me at ease from the
very first day. I count you among my "golf friends" now, not just another
instructor. I would highly recommend you and your school to anyone at
any level of play who is ready to make a commitment to improve their game.
Mine certainly did. Before I came to you I had never broken 100 at any
full length course. That was my first goal, just to break 100. Well, the
week I returned home I shot a 98 at Pacific Grove and the same at Blackhorse.
And this week I scored a 92 at Pajaro Valley, which is a VERY long and
somewhat difficult course. That is a 13 stroke improvement for me at that
course. But what I like even better than that is the way I feel
at the practice range.
With all the notes and video from the school I am now becoming a "real"
golfer at the range. I don't just whack through a bucket of balls anymore
and then leave disgusted. I now fully enjoy my time at the range and sincerely
count it as time invested in my improvement. For every bad swing I make
I now have an answer and a specific cure to work on. I can't tell you
how good it feels to hit 15 or 20 really nice shots in a row. And when
I do miss, it feels even better to figure out the reason and then fix
it right there on the spot. I have NEVER been able to do that before,
now it happens EVERY time. I leave the range feeling great and that confidence
goes right onto the course with me.
Thanks Jason, I look forward to many return visits.

Jason,
It's been a while since I've written to you but I wanted to let you know
how things were progressing with my game. (Thanks to you!!!) I practice
about 3 times a week, and I try to play at least once or twice a week.
I've dropped my index from a 21 at the school in June to 16 today. The
last time we spoke I had just shot an 89 for the first time and you said
that I should make it a goal to hit 86. Well, I had shot a few more 89's
and even an 88 and then finally, this last weekend, I went out and shot
an 81.
I had 7 par's and 2 birdies. One of the birdies was a 126 yard par 3 with
an elevated green over a bunker. Much like the 10th hole that I hit the
Ace with you at. I walked up and the ball was sitting 3 inches from the
cup. An easy tap in for birdie. Then the second birdie came on a 385 yard
par 4, I had a decent drive and a 8 iron into the green. I left it just
15 inches from the cup. If I could play like that all the time, I think
I may quick working and golf everyday...I'd probably have a tough time
getting my wife to let me do that though.
By the way...we had the baby. His name is Jack. My wife is back playing
again, and she loves the 7 wood I got from you. I'm bidding on e-bay for
one right now for her. I thought I'd tell you just in case you're bidding
against me.
Hope all is well...when things settle down, I'll get down there for that
refresher course.

To Jason,
I had a wonderful experience at your golf school. It was very fun. I
have gotten extremely good. I went out to a golf course in Victoria (Canada)
the day after I got home and I shot a 49 on nine holes and I also had
a par (par 36 super long course at Royal Colwood Golf Club). Your Golf
school improved my swing, grip, alignment and mental skills. I use a pre-shot
routine and three practice swings before every shot. That really helps
me. I have improved 100% on my short game, mostly my putting (no more
three putts). I hit my clubs thirty yards further now because I say "Yogi
Bear" when I swing through. Tomorrow, I will be going to Surrey for a
tournament to qualify to go to Atlanta for the U.S. Kids final.
Thank-you!
p.s. now Sean can call me "Mr. Sweep, not Mr. Steep!"
Yours truly,

Hey Doctor,
I have to tell you again, Jason, what a great time I had over the past
three days! After 30 years of struggling with my game, the relatively
few hours we spent together DEFINITELY increased my understanding of the
golf swing and how truly SIMPLE it really can be (is)! I have had lots
of lessons, and until now no one has been able to communicate and demonstrate
to me just exactly what I should be doing to effect a consistently successful
result. "Flying the hips" and "leaving my head behind the ball" have made
a significant difference in my game; resulting in an exciting new level
of competence and confidence. Hard to believe after only a couple of days
I was able to accumulate 10 pars and a birdie during our practice round
(with no more than bogie on the remaining holes)! I see myself as much-improved,
and know for certain my playing will continue to improve even more (and
rapidly) as I practice the things I learned during the school.
You have great ability to get me to think and act positively, and your
direct "hands-on" teaching methods delivered immediate results. All I
had to do was duplicate the few simple steps you were showing me, and
I experienced instant success. I also liked the way you got me to "see
the shot", and how you helped me develop my own pre-shot routine. These
things along with swing thoughts based-on what works best for me -- not
just some wrote, "one way for everybody" method -- got me thinking about
the focus and self-discipline I have been lacking in my practice and playing.
I love my "new" putting grip. I think putting has been been a strong part
of my game, and now I have even greater confidence! Your "ski" and "dip"
method of chipping and pitching was ESPECIALLY helpful. Again...simple
to duplicate... great and immediate results when properly executed!! I
expect my greatest overall improvement to arrive out of this part of my
game. Overall...I took much away with me, and it was at a bargain!! Best
of all...I recognize IMMEDIATELY whether or not I execute my shots properly
-- full-swing, pitch, chip, or putt -- and I find the good shots to be
consistently "better" than my "good" shots hit prior to attending the
school (if that makes any sense). I also CELEBRATE the "poor" shots, because
NOW I actually KNOW what I did wrong. I know, with any club in my bag,
if I take a full-swing and the result is not good:
1. I rotated my hands, turning the club face away from the ball -- rather
than pushing the club back straight until the face naturally opens, and/or...
2. I neglected to fire my hips through as the club impacts the ball, and/or...
3. I moved my head significantly sometime during the swing.
I now KNOW FOR CERTAIN if I:
- Diligently go through my pre-shot routine, and...
- Take the club away in one piece, and...
- Make a smooth 80% swing down through a spot approximately one-inch
in front of the ball, (carve a line in the sand with my right forefinger),
and...
- Fire my hips toward the target at impact, and...
- My hands finish high with my head and eyes behind the point of impact
("swing and wait and hit it straight")...
I will have hit the best shot of which I am capable -- PERIOD!!!
My overall experience was way beyond what I expected. I was unprepared
for the very personal, friendly, relaxed, and hugely positive confidence-building
teaching environment you created for me. I appreciate so much the enthusiasm
and encouragement you extended in making my lesson time so productive
-- and so much FUN!! You really are a funny guy, Mate, and it is obvious
you have a good time doing your job!!
From my own experience...any and all who are looking to significantly
improve their golf skills in rapid fashion would do well to attend Mind
Power Golf School! No matter the level of expertise; never played before
or scratch golfer -- I expect to highly recommend you to all!!
I say without hesitation: Please feel free to have your prospective students
contact me should they be looking for a good word. I look forward to sharing
my future golfing successes with you, Jason, and I also look forward to
our next opportunity to work together.
God bless you, Friend!

Jase,
Not only do you improve fundamental flaws like a poor grip and awkward
swing, you also inspire a love for the game that focuses concentration
in a Zen-like manner. I'm sure that your psychology degree plays a role
in developing your students for this "mind game" called golf. Who could
have thought that you could have so much fun taking lesions on how to
hit a small white ball. After playing with you, I look forward to my new
life
experience called "golf."

Jason,
Just wanted to express my gratitude and thanks for 3 days of great instruction.
I have been playing golf on and off for 45 years. I have worked extensively
with Teaching Professionals before, however no one was able to analyze
and correct my swing so thoroughly in such a short period. After
not playing or practicing for approximately 12 years, with the aid of
your insights and swing keys geared to my particular swing, I was able,
by the second day, to hit the ball as if I played and practiced 5 days
a week!! If I had learned to swing 25 years ago as I did during our session,
I would be playing on the tour today.
If anyone would like to contact me regarding the value of your school,
please have them contact me at 800-200-1503.
